Art Studio Thesis Exhibitions: Event Information & Calendar
Wesleyan University's annual Art Studio thesis exhibitions are beginning this week, showcasing final works by seniors in Wesleyan’s Department of Art and Art History. The exhibitions will run weekly from Tuesday, March 26 — Sunday, April 28, in Ezra and Cecile Zilkha Gallery (283 Washington Terrace, Middletown, Connecticut). Visiting hours will be Tuesday through Sunday, Noon–5 pm.
The exhibitions feature each student's development of a focused body of work, resulting in solo exhibitions. The exhibition is the culmination of a two-semester thesis tutorial and is developed in close critical dialogue with a faculty advisor. The senior thesis exhibition allows students to engage in a rigorous, self-directed creative investigation and a public dialogue about their work.
